Especially in winters, when it comes to me I cannot do without a good lip balm and I need to carry it along where ever I go. I have used many lip balms from different brands. Generally I keep on experimenting with different brands when it comes to lip balms. So today I am going to review a balm which I found pretty good and I am planning to stick to this one for long. My take on Oriflame Tender Care Cherry Balm?
The packaging of this balm is really cute. It comes in a cherry color cute little tub with silver color logo of Oriflame on it. It has a screw type cap. The cap is tight so its overall packaging makes it quite travel friendly. The mouth of the tub is wide enough, you can easily dip your finger inside to take out the required quantity of the balm as per your convenience.
The balm is translucent in color and has a very smooth, non-greasy texture. The texture resembles Vaseline petroleum jelly but it is not at all oily and greasy like that. It has a very mild fragrance (smells like a cherry). It glides over skin very easily and smoothly and makes my skin or lips moist in no time. It gets easily absorbed by the skin.
The most attractive thing about this product is that it is a multipurpose product. It can be used to treat dry skin anywhere on your body be it your face, elbows, ankle, cuticles etc. It can be used as a lip balm as well as a cuticle cream. One more thing it can be used for soothing mosquito bites redness. In case you have long nails, taking out the balm from the tub can be a bit irritating. But that is the problem with long nails only otherwise it is all good.
