This time I am going to review “Khadi Sandalwood Herbal Face Pack.” Sandalwood is something which has been used since ages as a beauty product. Sandalwood has a very soothing aroma and healing property which is excellent for skin. It has astringent, anti inflammatory, antiseptic and disinfectant properties. That is why I wanted to try a sandalwood face pack and purchased this one. Let us see how this one worked for me.

Directions: Mix 10 grams of face pack in raw milk, rose water or cucumber juice to make a paste and apply on face, neck, body. Rinse with cold water.

Ingredients: Fullers earth, Sandalwood, Neem, Tulsi, Kachoor.

My take on Khadi Sandalwood Herbal Face Pack

The face pack comes in a steel container, the cap of the container is not tight enough to make it travel friendly. Inside the container the face pack is sealed in a small plastic pouch. So its overall packaging does not make the product travel friendly. The face pack comes in the form of a smooth powder which is not at all gritty. You can mix the powder with milk, rose water or cucumber juice which ever medium you prefer to make a smooth paste.

I made the paste either with milk or rose water. In fact I would say that I am not particular about a specific mixing medium as all the mediums are good for skin. It has a nice sandalwood fragrance. After applying the face pack my skin feels soft and smooth. It gives a matte finish to my face which means that it is good for oily and acne prone skin as it controls oil. It works on blackheads quite well, they get visibly reduced. I generally use face wash then scrub and then massage cream to calm and rejuvenate my skin. At the end I go for the face pack. One more thing I make it a point to massage the face pack before rinsing it off with water. So that the dead skin is removed completely. Be gentle while massaging as the pack gets hard after drying so being harsh while massaging can hurt your delicate facial skin. The pack takes 15 to 20 minutes to dry completely.

I don’t think so as I did not find anything that is very attractive and effective in this product which can make me stick to this one. I would like to explore new brands for sandalwood face pack.

Well it is neither bad nor a very good product. It is an average one. So in case you have oily and acne prone skin you can give it a try.
