I have worse hair texture. My hairs are extremely dry, frizzy and super duper rough. And after undergoing rebounding twice, my hairs have become more dry and frizzy. I cannot leave them open because they are so hard to manage, very fluffy and frizzy. I was looking for a deep hair treatment that can add some life to my hair and ended up purchasing this ‘boot intensive henna hair treatment’ for colored and damaged hair. I have never colored my hair but my hairs are damaged due to chemical treatments. This product contains henna and this is the only reason why I purchased it. We all know henna benefits.

My Experience with Boots Ingredients Henna Intensive Hair Treatment:

Boots Henna Intensive Hair Treatment comes in a big pink tub packaging with a maroon lid on top. The tub is huge so it’s not travel friendly but you can take out some product in another container and travel with it. No dispenser is provided so you have to dip fingers in it or use spatula every time. I am very lazy to use a spatula; I just dig my sanitized hands. The texture is neither too thick nor too thin, it’s just perfect. It spread easily on hair and comes off easily too. The fragrance is mild and very pleasant. I was expecting a bad herbal fragrance as it contains henna but it smells pretty good. The scent lingers for 2-3 hours after application and then vanishes. I first shampoo my hair and then apply this hair treatment all over my strands. On the box it is suggested to keep the treatment for 5 minutes but I keep it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I rinse off the treatment with plain water. It comes off easily without leaving any soapy residue behind.

I use this treatment once a week and have used it 7-8 times till now. As soon as my hairs dry, I can see how smooth and silky they look. It makes my hair super soft and I keep touching my strands often. It controls frizz to a great extent and I can leave them open without worrying much. It becomes easier to manage them. It also gives natural sheen to my hairs. After using it couple of times, I can actually say that it works and is a must have for all. Since I don’t have colored hair, I cannot comment how it would work. But for girls with damaged should get this as soon as possible because it controls frizz, makes hair smooth, adds sheen, adds bounce and makes hair much more manageable than they actually are. The quantity is huge and one tub is going to last you for approx 5 months if used once a week. So the quantity justifies the price.
