Hair conditioning is important for all types of hair as it adds brilliance to hair. Conditioners are really helpful in keeping hair soft and smooth by binding in moisture. It also makes hair more manageable and removes tangles.  We should condition hair at least thrice a week so that the moisture and oil balance is maintained. You can make conditioners at home which are as good as ready-made and branded conditioners we purchase from market. 

 
Rich hair conditioner:
 
Ingredients: 6 tablespoons of castor oil, 4 tablespoons of lanolin, 2 tablespoons of any vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons of coconut oil, 2 teaspoons of scrapping of pears soap, 2 teaspoons of cider vinegar, 3 tablespoon of glycerine and 1 cup water.
 
Method: Melt the oils and lanolin in a pan using double boiling method then add water to the oils, make sure you beat rapidly until it gets mixed properly. Now cool it and preserve it in a jar or bottle.
 
How to apply: Take 1 tablespoon of this cream and apply on dry hair. Then cover hair with hot towel for 5 minutes, after 5 minutes rinse off.
 
*This conditioner can be used for all hair type. For dry hair, you can add a beaten egg in the cream before applying it on hair. And for oily hair, you can add one tablespoon of lime juice in the cream just before applying it on hair.
 
 
High Protein Conditioner:
 
Ingredients: 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of cedar vinegar, 2 teaspoons of glycerine.
 
Method: Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl using an egg beater.
 
How to apply: Apply this mixture on the scalp by making parting in hair and on the length of hair. Massage it well on the scalp then wrap a hot towel around your hair. Keep it for 15 minutes then rinse off with water. This conditioner will make your hair smooth and shiny.
 
 
Cider vinegar conditioner:
 
Ingredients: ½ cup of cider vinegar and 2 pints of water.
 
Method: Mix both the ingredients well.
 
How to apply: Apply the mixture on hair and leave it for 2 minutes then rinse off with water. This conditioner will add sparkle and bounce to your hair.          
 

 
Henna conditioner:
 
Ingredients: 3 tablespoons of henna, 2 tablespoons of strong coffee or tea, 2 teaspoons of ground parsley leaves, 1 teaspoon of ground cloves, ½ teaspoon of castor oil and 1 egg.
 
Method: Add all ingredients except castor oil. Mix them well until you create a smooth paste. Now add castor oil and blend well.
 
How to use: Apply this mixture on dry hair and rinse off after 15 minutes with lukewarm water.
 
 
Vegetable oil conditioner:
 
Ingredient: 1 tablespoon of any vegetable oil.
 
Method: Warm oil
 
How to use: Massage on hair then wrap a hot towel on hair. Leave it for 20 minutes then rinse off.
 
 
Egg conditioner:
 
Ingredient: 2 egg yolks
 
Method: Beat up the egg yolk.
 
How to use: Apply it on hair using a wet cotton wool. Leave it for 15 minutes then rinse off with lukewarm water. In case you cannot stand the egg smell then add 1 tablespoon of shampoo to the yolk before applying it.
 
So all the above conditioners will give extra shine and bounce to your dry and dull hairJ.
